Lovely Hotel with fantastic staff who did everything possible to answer any questions and help with any problems. I had friendly and helpful assistance on check in from Viktor and the next morning the reception lady was lovely and so helpful with directions and guidence and a map. The hotel is perfectly situated right next to the wonderful Medival walls and close to everything you want to see and need. There is a lovely looking resteraunt and terrace bar and you step out on too the city walls pathway. It is just a 5 min walk from the main square where there is a wide range of shops, cafes, resteraunts and just inside the Medival gate a great Bocadillo shop. My room had everything I needed and was very clean and comfortable. The Wifi was good and overall my stay was excellent. It was very quite at night and sleeping was easy. If I come back to Avila I wiuld be very happy to stay again.

I loved the hotel building itself -- a renovated 16th C house with exposed stone and brick walls, wooden beams in the ceiling, odd angles, unusual windows, and a view of the City Walls. The other one of my windows looked out onto a charming garden. The room decor was modern, crisp, clean, and innovative in its adaptation to the 16th C building. Having toured Toledo a few days before and seen the re-creation of El Greco's kitchen and studio, the hotel building and room allowed me to feel as if I was in that time. Finally, the location, just outside the city walls, was excellent. The advance work from the staff to guide me to the closest parking garage was particularly appreciated.

For a budget hotel it was excellent. We had a generously appointed room in a quiet part of the hotel. It was annexed to an excellent restaurant with direct access. A short walk provided access to the old wall town. Secure garage parking was within 100 meters. I was particularly impressed by the grab rails affording security when using the over bath shower. Sadly lacking in other hotels I have used. Not exceptional but more than satisfactory. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Great central location just outside the old city walls, but just a couple of minutes walk from a gateway. Quiet location. Lovely clean & comfortable room. Mountain views from room. All major sites walkable. Close to many bars & restaurants. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Good powerful shower. We ate in the restaurant one night & the food & service were excellent. All good

Perfect location just by the walls of Avila. Our room was spacious and there was a garden opposite where we sat to chill a couple of times. The staff were lovely, Katya gave us loads of helpful information when we checked in so we made the most of our time. We ate twice at the restaurant as the food was exceptional and again the staff were lovely. 100% recommended!
